Qool DJ Marv is a master craftsman and a pioneer in his trade. He elevates the idea of DJ as something more than the cool somebody playing trendy music; he wants to be your music maestro who creates a fantastic and memorable musical atmosphere.

Marv stylistically weaves multiple genres of music from many eras and places into a seamless listening experience that grooves nice and feels intuitive.  The fluid flow and continuously ascending momentum of his wide-ranging sets is inviting, hypnotic, and breathtaking. Inspired by the spontaneity and improvisation in Jazz music, every set mixed by Marv is an original performance filled with songs selected for their right sound and tone for the celebration. 

Intertwined into Marv’s 22 years experience are DJ residencies at downtown Manhattan lounges, invitations to play music worldwide, and dozens of entertainment, fashion, and media industry special events.  HBO has hired Marv to play at several of their series premier events and has paired Marv with musicians to entertain the entertainers at their L.A. based Emmy event every year since 2004.
